Everyone needs a break, a chance to recharge and reset. And for a lot of people, that means a trip to the coffee shop! The ABI crew has the tea on where you should consider getting your next pick-me-up.

I sit on our balcony, turn on the music and put my feet up. I love the peace my home gives me. When I’m out of town, I’m most at peace watching ocean waves.

I really don’t take coffee breaks, I always make sure I get plenty of sleep so I’m well rested and ready to take on each day.

I don’t really have a spot to go to, but I’m thinking I should consider one. When I need a mental break, I tend to recommit to my yoga practice which is usually guided by https://www.youtube.com/c/yogawithadriene or doing yoga at my gym.

I love a good bubble tea and Feng Cha is my go-to for a nice refreshing drink. I usually order a Taro Breeze with sea salt foam and a little bit of boba. They have so many delicious drinks, and I plan on trying all of them. They have many locations throughout the metroplex, but the Dallas locations are on Lower Greenville and Beltline. Each location’s vibe is different, but they all have a modern and cozy ambiance that is great for relaxing and recharging.

To recharge and refresh, I head to one of two places. My couch — this is the one place where the world shuts out and I’m tuned in to learn or unwind. I love documentaries (Colin in Black & White) just as much as I love comedies (The Big Bang Theory, Two & a Half Men). If watching tv isn’t an option, I head out for a run.
One of the best things you can do for yourself and to clear your head is to go for a run. The fresh air, the focus on breathing, and all the freedom to go at your own pace keeps me refreshed when I get back to my computer.

When I need to take a step away from a project or take a break from the screen, I like to go to the lake to clear my head. I do some of my best thinking with the fresh air, a breeze from the lake, and the sound of water.

I love to grab my coffee and go! Lately, I’ve been in the routine of heading to all the wonderful state parks Texas has. If you’re looking for a cool place to hang out and work remotely, head to Dinosaur Valley State Park.

I live in bubble tea central so I am always recommending places to visit. But personally, when I’m working from home, I head to 愿茶Moge Tee in Carrollton! They have delicious smoothies, teas, boba, and other tasty drinks plus there’s plenty of space to sit and hang out. It’s within walking distance from my home so it’s a great break during the day when I can get away from my laptop. My favorite drinks are the Osmanthus Tea with cheese foam and the Crème Brûlée milk tea with cheese foam. If I want a snack, I’ll stop by Paris Baguette for baked goods!

I enjoy going to White Rock Lake and going for a walk. On some occasions, I take my longboard for a ride.

I’m a homebody through and through. Home is my spot of comfort. The best way to end an exhausting day is curling up in my bed at home with my pup and maybe a slice of pizza.
On the weekends, I like to go out to White Rock Lake and take a nice, long walk with my headphones in and my dog in tow! After my walk, I like to grab an iced latte and head home. Such a great way to recharge, especially with the nice weather.

My spot of comfort is Andrew Brown Park in Coppell. Whenever I need a break from the routine, I like to go for a long walk or just sit by the pond there.

Okay, hear me out. I eat white chocolate Reese’s peanut butter cups. They are so good. And mixed with a Red Bull, I feel I actually have wings. Being a *new* mom does not really allow me much time to escape when I am stressed, so I simply sit, eat my chocolate, and drink my Red Bull in peace for five minutes.
