Freelance Copywriter

From short and witty tweets and punchy headlines to inspirational storytelling or straight-forward marketing collateral, ABI is currently seeking a Freelance Copywriter who can persuade, inform and entertain to create effective campaigns and communications across many platforms. 

As a Freelance Copywriter with 5+ years of experience you can expect to:  

  • Brainstorm and concept to create original work for multiple industries and clients with experience writing both print and digital copy
     

  • Write engaging conceptual advertising copy, as well as compelling business copy, and understand the difference while possessing excellent communication and grammar skills
     

  • Think strategically, while utilizing the creative strategy to achieve project goals
     

  • Collaborate with the creative department (sometimes through several iterations)
     

  • Manage multiple projects and tight deadlines in a highly organized and detailed manner
     

  • Be a student of advertising best practices and trends, as well as our firm’s clients, to keep the copy relevant, modern and effective
     

  • Possess excellent writing skills with the ability to write evocatively for multiple audiences in varying tones
     

  • Write or rewrite quickly and effectively in tight deadline situations
     

Experience writing for radio and/or video also a plus.
